Savonnerie du Midi (founded in 1894) is one of the oldest soap factories in Marseille and is among the last four to produce traditional Marseille soap using the historic "Marseille Process." Thanks to the partnership with Lesseau, these renowned soaps are now also available for use in Lesseau soap dispensers.

The Lesseau Soapy Bar Verveine Citron is a carefully formulated blend of pure, natural ingredients.

Sodium Palmate and Sodium Palm Kernelate : provide thorough yet gentle cleaning.
Glycerin : helps keep your skin hydrated without drying it out.
Citrus Aurantium Peel Oil : gives the soap its refreshing lemon scent.

Unique production process

What makes Verveine Citron soap so special is its unique production process, known as the "kettle process." Savon de Provence is boiled in large kettles with a capacity of 10 to 12 tons, where the vegetable oils are mixed with water and soda to create soap. The resulting paste is repeatedly washed with water and saltwater. It is this washing that ensures we produce a soap we call extra pure.

With Lesseau, you don't waste hand sanitiser, refilling is easy, and the surface stays clean and the material isn't damaged. Our Soapy Bars are available in various packaging and varieties.

Dermatologically tested

Our soaps are certified by Ecosert, a certification body. This certification is called Cosmos Natural.

Lesseau soap is made with natural ingredients and contains 0-2% water, resulting in less waste and less water transport. Furthermore, we don't use single-use plastics, and our soap is easily refillable. Bar soap softens and moisturizes your skin, while liquid soap can often be drying. Liquid soap often contains a lot of water and chemicals and is packaged in plastic bottles, which creates more waste and environmental impact.

Our soap bars are cruelty-free, plastic-free, 100% vegan, and made primarily with natural ingredients.
